Our Mission
The mission of Truth Writer Ensemble Company is to uplift, enlighten, and ultimately better the community of Mount Vernon, NY through the art of theatre.
We achieve this mission by instituting three principles:
To Produce a season of innovative plays, new and seasoned, that relates to the community and encourages positive thoughts and actions.
To Nurture a new generation of writers, performers, technicians, and designers in the community into working professionals through classes, seminars, and internships, that gives them the tools they need to compete in the Theatre Industry.
To Reach Out to members of the community through dialogue, community events, and festivals that encourage positive interaction between theatre patrons and Theatre Artists.
